OPEN A.I.R

Artist in Residency Program + Bonfire Open Mic

Program Description:

Each month, a Chicago-based Artivist is invited to hold space through our Open A.I.R. Residency. Residents showcase their work in the #BreathingRoom Space gallery, receive a social media spotlight, facilitate an interactive workshop spotlighting their craft, and perform at the Open A.I.R. Bonfire Open Mic. This residency fosters a space where art, activism, and community intersect to inspire change, challenge norms, and spark meaningful dialogue.

The Goal of Open A.I.R is about giving artists and activists from historically disenfranchised backgrounds and identities, the freedom to explore, create, and connect with others who are passionate about meaningful change. We’re looking for individuals whose work challenges the status quo and sparks conversations that matter.
